Tipton County, Indiana
|
It is my goal to create serious but simple and accurate tools for genealogists and persons interested in the History of Tipton County, Indiana. To that end, the following cemetery catalogs are available at this time. The "staff" at Sharpsville Ancestors has just doubled; that is to say one person has been added. Gae Matchette whose passion is pioneer cemeteries has agreed to lend a hand. Many thanks to Beau at Tipton County Public Library, Virginia Chambers and Marty Quirk of Sharpsville. Also, thanks to Ed and Debby. For cemeteries in Howard and Cass Counties in Indiana, visit their web site at: edanddebby.com . I may be contacted by E-mail at: wa9nww@aol.com. Please place Cemetery in the subject field. June 7, 2012 After three years of search and research, all eight cemeteries in Liberty Twp. have been cataloged. We are especially proud of Barlow, Jackson and Nevada. The remaining ninth button is reserved for Indian burial mounds. Gae and I continue to add other cemeteries located in Tipton County below.
